Alice M. Clark, SPHR
Alice M. Clark is Senior Vice President, Human Resources. As such, she oversees all human resource services functions including wage and salary administration, benefits, employee relations issues, employee policy development and interpretation, recruitment and selection, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ms. Clark began her career with the organization when she was hired in 1990 as director of personnel by The Lutheran Home at Topton, now part of Diakon. For 15 years before that, she worked with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at Allentown State Hospital as a personnel analyst and a medical records coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Muhlenberg College and a Master of Business Administration, with management concentration, from DeSales University (formerly Allentown College).
She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Professionals, as well as the local chapter, Lehigh Valley Society for Human Resource Professionals. Ms. Clark achieved certification as Senior Professional in Human Resources in 2000.
Ms. Clark works in Diakon’s corporate office at Allentown.
