David R. Fralick

David R. Fralick brings more than 25 years of successful experience in construction and construction management to his role as Executive, Facility Management, with Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries. He is responsible for management of Diakon’s capital budget, building code and regulatory compliance, construction and renovation project management, standardization of building systems, and support to program facility managers.

Mr. Fralick joined Tressler Lutheran Services—now part of Diakon—in 1980 as maintenance supervisor at one of its nursing care centers. The next year, he was named Tressler’s Assistant Director for Physical Plant Services, a position he held until 1984, at which time he was named Director of Physical Plant Services. In 1997, he was named Executive, Facility Management, a position he has held through the affiliation that created Diakon.

Mr. Fralick has extensive knowledge and experience in health-care building codes, regulations, and plant administration. He works closely with architects and engineers throughout the design phases of new construction and renovation projects.

He has taken college courses in business administration and civil engineering and is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, past member and chair of the Environmental Sub-Committee for the Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging, and is a member and past chair of the Upper Paxton Township Zoning Hearing Board in upper Dauphin County. In addition, he serves on the Credit Committee of the Central Pennsylvania Lutheran Credit Union and is listed in the “International Who’s Who of Professionals.”
