Tim Reed is Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries’ Vice President for Project Planning and Implementation. Mr. Reed brings nearly 40 years of experience to his position in planning, acquisition, design, and construction of properties of all types, including Continuing Care Retirement Communities.

Before joining Diakon in 2005, he was Director for Property and Design with The Kendal Corporation, overseeing development of a number of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, as well as more than $30 million in renovation and expansion of existing retirement communities. Before that, Mr. Reed served with several other corporations as an associate structural and civil engineer, project engineer, and structural and architectural draftsman.

A graduate of Temple University with a degree in architectural design technology, Mr. Reed served as a U.S. Army battalion draftsman. He has volunteered with numerous community organizations, including the Jaycees and 4-H.
