Diakon Adoption Services of Maryland offers monthly adoption support groups within 10 Maryland counties and the City of Baltimore, under grants from the Maryland Department of Human Resources. The meetings are open to any adoptive or foster family, not only those who have adopted through Diakon. Numerous issues, including attachment, educational resources, and positive discipline techniques, are discussed. Free child-care is provided.
