Access to Community Treatment—or ACT—is a family-focused, community-based
intensive outpatient program designed to serve children and adolescents
with a history of severe mental-health issues.
A team of master's-level clinicians and community interventionists,
led by a full-time clinical director, provides clients with therapeutic
and case-management services at the home and community level. ACT
specifically helps clients remain in their community by teaching them
how to cope and function safely at home, in their communities, and
in school.
