Our 30-Year Tradition

From our origins as a skilled nursing facility more than 30 years ago, our campus has expanded to offer gracious, affordable senior living accommodations and a comfortable, cozy personal care center. Situated in historic Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village is a comprehensive senior living campus offering an array of services that help residents to live worry- and hassle-free.

Located in the midst of Union County’s scenic landscape, Buffalo Valley is just minutes from downtown Lewisburg, which boasts beautiful Victorian architecture. Nearby, residents can enjoy specialty shops, a community library, and a farmer’s market, as well as many other amenities and events within central Pennsylvania.

And the village is also easily accessible. Major highways, including Interstate-80 and Rts. 11/15, are within close proximity. Our central location allows residents to enjoy trips to State College, Williamsport, and Harrisburg, all within an hour’s drive. Lewisburg is also home to Bucknell University, which hosts world-renowned cultural events. Four additional nearby colleges and universities—Susquehanna University at Selinsgrove, Lycoming College at Williamsport, The Pennsylvania State University at College Park, and Bloomsburg University—also host numerous programs our residents can easily attend.
