Offering all of the conveniences of home, our personal care accommodations provide residents with medication management, on-site health care, personal grooming, monitored exercise, strengthening programs, specialized diets, therapeutic recreational activities, and social services. Personal Care residents also have a myriad of social activities and events from which to choose, helping them to lead active, fulfilling lives.

Individual accommodations

Frey Village offers handicapped-accessible private suites, which include a full bath with walk-in shower. All suites are equipped with wall-to-wall carpeting, window treatments, a storage closet, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning. Residents may choose to bring their own furniture, or Frey Village can supply furnishings for no additional fee.

Residents of our personal care accommodations enjoy three delicious meals served daily in an elegant dining room. Daily and weekly housekeeping service is available. Residents may opt to use the center’s laundry service, but for those who choose to do their own laundry, two private resident laundry rooms are available.

The personal care center also boasts a large community room with full kitchen. A well-appointed library is located within the accommodations, complete with a piano and a large-screen television. Alcove areas also present the perfect spot for conversing with friends or entertaining family, as does a spacious outdoor courtyard.

Social opportunities abound

Frey Village offers numerous social, recreational, and cultural events designed to promote a fulfilling, active lifestyle. From educational discussions and religious studies to luncheon outings, mystery trips and volunteer opportunities, residents enjoy a diverse events calendar. Personal care residents can attend quarterly Resident Council meetings, which provide an informative forum for community happenings.

A food council exists for those residents who like to offer menu-selection suggestions and discuss upcoming meals. Intergenerational opportunities abound through programs conducted with various community, civic, and religious organizations, including the Diakon Wilderness Center. A wide range of events offers residents an energetic lifestyle.

Peace of mind for you and family

Frey Village residents and their families have peace of mind knowing that staff members are available 24 hours a day to meet residents’ needs. Residents have access to an emergency-call system, which notifies staff in the event of an urgent situation.
