Apartments. To obtain occupancy, residents pay an entrance fee as well as
a modest monthly service fee.
Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries takes pride in providing high-quality
service at affordable rates. In fact, we offer flexible pricing
on our retirement accommodations to make them affordable to as many
people as possible. For example, our accommodations offer a refund of your
original occupancy entrance fee, ranging from zero through 90
percent, based on the fee level you choose.
Each apartment is furnished with a dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, and
refrigerator. All apartments have private balconies with breathtaking countryside
views. Residents live independently and have fee-based access to
housekeeping services, nursing services, and meals.
With this type of flexibility and refund schedule, you can be assured
your decision to enjoy senior living at Frey Village makes financial
sense!
Please note that refunds are contingent on resale of the occupancy of
your unit, as well as your original fee level. Please consult individual
agreements for details.
Monthly service fee
In addition to the entrance fee, residents pay a modest monthly fee. The
comprehensive fee includes 24-hour response system, maintenance of
building and appliances, lawn care, grounds upkeep, garbage
collection, outside electricity, basic cable television service, and property
insurance.
In addition to the maintenance fee, residents are responsible for
telephone service and tenant insurance on personal contents. A $250
non-refundable, processing fee is payable upon submission of
your application.
The monthly service fee includes:
- Lawn care and landscaping
- Leaf removal
- Trash removal
- Cable television service
- 24-hour emergency-response system
- Interior and exterior maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and appliances provided in apartment
- Insurance on buildings and grounds
- Staff and administrative costs
- Pest control
- Recreational activities
- Regularly scheduled transportation
