 In 1988, the parents of 60 preschool children, ages two through five, enrolled their children in Diakon KidzStuff (then known as the Tressler Discovery Center) because they were looking for safe, secure child care that would nurture their children and provide every opportunity to experience the world around them. Today, the program and the needs of the parents have grown so that the center serves nearly 100 preschoolers and 50 school-age children during the academic year, and an additional 20 school-age children during the summer months. Diakon KidzStuff is licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. |
