Located in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Pocono Lutheran Village is easily accessed from major highways, including Interstate 80. In addition, we are close to health-care facilities such as Pocono Medical Center, a community hospital offering an array of in- and outpatient services.

East Stroudsburg University provides diverse opportunities for personal growth through special events, seminars, and educational series. The region also boasts extensive cultural, recreational, and social settings including concerts, tourist events, and diverse dining and shopping establishments.

Social Opportunities

In addition to community events, Pocono Lutheran Village offers residents varied programs focused on health, wellness, and socialization. Residents can attend health fairs, take part in games or arts in our activity suite, enjoy interfaith services in our chapel, or simply read a good novel in our well-appointed library. Residents may enjoy the outdoors by taking nature walks, gardening, or watching the birds that frequent our feeders.

Artistic craft sessions are available for those who enjoy working with their hands. For those who like to stay busy while helping others, volunteer opportunities abound. Residents also remain connected to the larger community as area organizations and groups visit to perform concerts, help with special events, or just to socialize. Staying Connected

Family is a very important part of our residents’ lives and so equally important to us. We hold monthly meetings open to residents and their families to discuss current events and services. Families may use our private conference room for meetings and discussions.

We take pride as well in the fact local colleges and universities view Pocono Lutheran Village as a model for learning, as we are used for nursing and gerontology practicums and have developed a long-standing relationship with East Stroudsburg University, whose students add to life at the village.

To further our community partnerships, we have established a Program Advisory Council composed of referral sources, physicians, college professors, and other community leaders. Through the council, instrumental individuals work together to help us focus and maximize our services and amenities.
