Each year, Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries provides approximately $1 million a month in benevolent care through a wide range of programs touching the lives of children, families, and adults of all ages.

In addition, our senior living communities, such as Twining Village, rely on generous donations to help provide the “extras” that make life especially enjoyable for our residents.

For example, current needs include the following:

• A “Smart Board” for activities
• A computer with Webcam ability for residents in health care center
• Electronic bingo equipment for independent and personal care residents
• Artificial Christmas tree
• Arts and crafts equipment and supplies for resident activities (kiln, paints, stained glass supplies, etc.)
• Clocks for individual resident rooms in the health care center
