Sharon Miers
Sharon Miers serves as director of residential services for Pocono Lutheran Village, East Stroudsburg, Pa. She has more than 30 years’ experience as a licensed nursing home administrator and personal care administrator in Pennsylvania, the last 10 of which she has served Diakon in both the Allentown and East Stroudsburg areas.
Ms. Miers has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and economics from College Misericordia (now Misericordia University), Dallas, Pa., and a master of arts degree in public administration from Marywood College, Scranton, Pa. She also has received a geriatric certificate from the Geriatric Scholar Program in Binghamton, N.Y.
