 Diakon Adult Day Services programs provide daytime assistance that allows older persons or those with disabilities to continue to live in their own homes or with family members. Helping them to maintain as much independence as possible, Diakon Adult Day Services offers an alternative to nursing care, at the same time providing a respite for those caring for someone at home. Beyond daytime care and assistance, the programs offer participants stimulating interaction with others who have similar interests and experiences. Diakon Adult Day Services centers boast exciting events and activities, including crafts, games, shopping and recreational trips, and educational projects.
