The spirit of staff giving is epitomized by one of our “employee giving leaders,” Wendy Richwine from Cumberland Crossings, a Diakon Senior Living Community in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
“I donate each year to the Cumberland Crossings Benevolent Care Campaign because I feel that every donation helps, no matter how small or how large. Together, we as employees can help support those residents who have exhausted their financial resources.” Beyond giving to Diakon, she has served as a giving leader, helping to oversee fundraising campaigns at the local level.
