The present annual income limits for Section 8 rental-subsidy eligibility are $25,200 for individuals and $28,800 for a two-person family. Those who qualify will pay 30 percent of their monthly income for rent.
Monthly adjusted income for Luther Meadows and Heilman House is the actual income received from such sources as Social Security and pensions, plus the greater of actual income earned on assets or the imputed income from assets calculated at a rate of two percent, less medical expenses exceeding three percent of gross monthly income. The income limits are subject to periodic changes.
