As a federal Housing and Urban Development Section 8 rental-subsidy community, Lutherwood is able to offer income-qualified persons rental fees that are approximately 30 percent of their adjusted income. Income recertification occurs annually for the rental fee. The right to occupancy begins with an initial one-year lease.
A special note
Twelve apartments are designed for the use of residents who are physically challenged (handicapped/disabled). However, health-care services are not provided by Lutherwood. The community was designed primarily for independent living; therefore, no meal program is provided.
