About Adult Day Care...
There is no place like home—that's why Manatawny Manor offers Adult
Day Services. In many situations, the program allows older persons or those
with disabilities to live at home or with family members during the
evenings and weekends. Providing caregivers with a respite during the
weekdays, the program offers a comfortable and stimulating setting in
which participants enjoy a myriad of services and amenities.
About our Services.
Participants are supervised in a secure setting by a registered
nurse/program director and program assistants. Together they encourage
participants' maximum level of participation-preventing social isolation
or premature placement in a care facility.
Adult Day Care Services Include:
- Social service consulting
- Medication assistance
- Bathing and grooming
- Beauty and barber services
- Podiatry services
- Physical, occupational and speech therapies
- Hot delicious meal
- Daily snacks
Dining and socialization
Manatawny Manor's Adult Day Care Center offers a nutritious noon meal to
participants as well as snacks served throughout the day. Participants'
social appetite is also satisfied as they enjoy a host of recreational
events such as crafts, games, trips, exercise programs, Bible studies,
cooking projects, holiday parties, intergenerational programs, and pet
therapy.

For those who qualify, financial assistance may be available through the
Pennsylvania Department of Aging or through the Phoenixville Community
