In 2006, Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries launched a branding campaign designed to display the
depth and breadth of the services we offer to our neighbors throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and
Delaware. The campaign included television commercials, print advertising, radio spots, redesigned
newsletters, and more—all created around the theme of Many Hands. One Heart., a powerful description
of the way our many staff members and many programs reach out, with one heart, to touch the lives
of thousands upon thousands of persons each year.
