Ohesson Manor is here to help if you need nursing or rehabilitative care or
services for dementia-related illnesses such as Alzheimer's disease.
Dedicated to putting you first, our nursing staff will work to make you
feel at home. By offering services designed to meet physical, emotional,
and spiritual needs, we provide compassionate, quality care with a
personal touch.
SpecialCare at Ohesson Manor
In addition to regular nursing and rehabilitative care, Ohesson Manor
offers SpecialCare accommodations and services for residents with
dementia-related illnesses. In a unique, secure setting within the Nursing Care
Center, SpecialCare helps residents lead more enjoyable lives by integrating
stimulating activities with nurturing attention.
Trained in care for those with memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, our
staff members serve residents in a spacious setting complete with a
interior country porch, garden room, secluded courtyard/patio, 50's-era
soda fountain dining area, and spacious living room/gathering room with
a fireplace and skylight.
Physically and cognitively stimulating, these exceptional themed areas are
designed to help rekindle memories representative of the residents' younger
years. In addition, residents enjoy one-on-one and group activities, such
as baking bread in the centrally located kitchen. With the kitchen's central
location, even those residents who aren't involved in the baking benefit
from the aromatherapy!
Accommodations
Enjoying private and semi-private accommodations, residents delight in a
warm and inviting atmosphere. Residents receive delicious home-style meals
in elegant dining rooms, worship in our beautiful chapel, and gather in
inviting lounges with family and friends. Taking in Ohesson Manor's
peaceful outdoor setting, residents may relax in the gazebo or sit on the
patio. Inside and out, Ohesson Manor has a cordial atmosphere.
A Diverse Social Calendar
Our hobby and activity calendar is filled with diverse social, recreational,
and cultural events. From one-on-one interaction to organized trips to area
events, residents take pleasure in a broad array of activities. Ohesson
Manor continues to involve residents in Lewistown community events such as
parades, musical concerts, and drama performances. With the well-rounded
combination of on- and off-campus events, residents can fill their
schedules with diversified activities and programs.
24 Hours a Day We'll Be There
Our caring and courteous staff offers around-the-clock care to residents.
No matter what time of day or night, residents can be assured that staff
will work to meet their needs. In addition, Ohesson Manor offers a 24-hour
admission policy, because we understand the need for nursing care may
arise unexpectedly or after hours. This policy also eases the transition
for the resident as well as his or her family.
