The Cottages at Ohesson Manor allow you to enjoy the privacy of your own
home without the tasks and hassles associated with home-ownership. No
longer do you need to worry about snow removal, landscaping, mowing, or
appliance maintenance. We take care of those for you! Without the
inconveniences of maintenance tasks, you'll have more time to do the things
you love to do and explore your interests.
Accommodations
Ohesson Manor offers duplex and townhouse-style homes to fit varying needs
and lifestyles. The standard Cottage boasts two bedrooms, full bath, a
completely furnished kitchen, spacious closet space, including a walk-in
closet in the master bedroom, central heat and air conditioning, washer,
dryer, and rear outdoor deck or patio. Residents also may choose such
options as a screened-in porch or sunroom and a garage.
Social Amenities
Residents of The Cottages may participate in organized activities such as
church services, bible studies, and shopping trips. Many residents join the
Cottagers' Council, through which residents and staff members meet to
discuss community happenings in an informative setting. Residents also are
part of the larger community, with many active in local churches, organizations,
and programs. In addition, Cottage residents also find time frequently to
gather to socialize, play cards, or just enjoy a leisurely day of
shopping.
Peace of Mind
Our Cottage residents can live without a number of worries of older
persons, knowing that assistance is only a phone call away. All Cottages
are equipped with a 24-hour response system directly connected to Ohesson
Manor's Nursing Care Center. In addition, Cottage residents receive
priority placement if they need care at the Nursing Care Center. With
these amenities, residents have the peace of mind that assistance is
available if needed.
