If you or a loved one needs assistance with the activities of daily living, Pocono Lutheran Village may be your perfect answer. Our staff members work hard to make residents’ lives as independent and gratifying as possible. Offering a range of personal care services including meals, medication management, and transportation, Pocono Lutheran Village can help to relieve many of the concerns of aging.

In addition to personal care services, we offer respite care for persons who need some assistance while recuperating from a hospital stay or whose primary caregivers, such as family members, may need to be away. Many times, in fact, our respite-care residents enjoy their stay so much they become permanent members of our village family. No matter what your residence plan is, our staff members will make you feel at home.

Just-Right Accommodations

We offer handicapped-accessible, spacious studio and one-bedroom suites in beautifully adorned surroundings. All suites are equipped with a private shower, wall-to-wall carpeting, and window treatments. All one-bedroom suites boast an efficiency kitchenette that includes a microwave, small refrigerator, counter with sink, and cabinets. In addition, suites feature spacious closets, with additional secured storage space available in a separate location for items such as seasonal clothing.

All suites include individual thermostats for air conditioning and heating control. Laundry service is provided, but for those residents who choose to do their own laundry, a private resident laundry room is available. Three delicious meals are served daily in our elegant dining room. Plus, two country kitchens are conveniently located for residents to enjoy a continental breakfast or light snack.

Social Opportunities Galore

Pocono Lutheran Village strives to maintain residents’ active lifestyles. From Bible studies to themed events and carefully planned outdoor activities, residents enjoy a range of social events. For example, residents may join the Food Council, whose participants meet with our chef to sample new dishes and discuss creative menu selections.

Residents may also participate in the Residents Council, which provides an open forum to discuss community events and services in an informative setting. For relaxation, residents can read in front of the fireplace in our well-appointed library, relax in one of our two cozy living areas, or gather on an outdoor patio to socialize with friends.

Pocono Lutheran Village residents can put aside some of the worries of aging, as they have access to assistance from a dedicated staff, a 24-hour call system, and emergency pull cords within their suite. Highly trained health-care professionals are on campus 24 hours a day. Such services offer peace of mind—both to our residents and their family members.
