The Forever Campaign for the Permanency Center in Old Main
The rebirth of a building will bring more ‘rebirths’ in young lives
The Forever Campaign for the Helen N. Palmer Center for Permanency, to be located in the refurbished Old Main building on The Lutheran Home at Topton campus, began with a groundbreaking ceremony launching the $8.2 million construction project.
When completed, the project will provide specialized facilities designed to help children and youths transition into—and be successful with—their foster or adoptive family. And we invite your support!
The two key goals of the Forever Campaign are to:
- Assure Our Future by creating this welcoming “Center for Permanency” within Old Main for our adoption and foster care program—and the families it serves.
- Preserve Our Past by renovating the second floor of Old Main and restoring other parts of the historic building as part of long-term efforts to protect critical aspects of our nearly 150-year history of service to children, youths and families.
The campaign incorporates multiple giving levels and opportunities to support the efforts of Diakon Adoption & Foster Care in Making Worlds Whole for waiting children and youths. To learn more about this critical campaign, see our Case for Support.
