Diakon Volunteer Home Care

There are times in everyone's life when assistance is needed. Whether you are dealing with a health issue, a sudden change in lifestyle, or other factors that overwhelm you, the helping hand of a friendly neighbor can ease anxieties and provide peace of mind.

Diakon Volunteer Home Care provides services to older adults necessary to help them continue to live in their own homes. When seniors decide they can longer drive, they not only lose their independence but also the ability to meet basic needs. Our dedicated volunteers provide transportation to important medical appointments and assist with acquiring groceries.

Without our services, individuals may have very few, if any, options for help and might otherwise go without the assistance they need. Thanks to generous donations and the support of Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries, all Diakon Volunteer Home Care services are offered free of charge.
