Dinner will be provided and guests will be given the choice to attend a screening of "Consider the Conversation" or to play "Hello", a surprisingly fun game about living and dying well.
Registration is free, but preregistration is requested. To register please visit the the events page at www.hospiceofcentralpa.org or email jmclintick@hospiceofcentralpa.org.
CONSIDER THE CONVERSATION: A Documentary on a Taboo Subject (60 min.) was created to inspire dialogue about end-of-life wishes and promote advance care planning. The film includes interviews with patients, doctors, nurses and clergy and encourages people to have an advanced directive – a legal document that states a person’s wishes at end-of-life.
HELLO: A game about living and dying well. It’s a conversation game in which people take turns answering provocative questions about what matters to them. Some of the questions are placed in an end-of-life context. At the heart of Hello are 32 questions in a booklet you take home.
