  1. Lutherwood is a “fair-market housing facility,” providing equality opportunity for all applicants.
  2. Older adults must be 62 years of age or older.
  3. Physically challenged individuals must be 18 years of age or older.
  4. Current maximum income limits are as follows:

    One person ....... $27,450
    Two people ....... $31,400


As a federal Housing and Urban Development Section 8 rental-subsidy community, Lutherwood is able to offer income-qualified persons rental fees that are approximately 30 percent of their adjusted income. Income recertification occurs annually for the rental fee. The right to occupancy begins with an initial one-year lease.

A special note

Twelve apartments are designed for the use of residents who are physically challenged (handicapped/disabled). However, health-care services are not provided by Lutherwood. The community was designed primarily for independent living; therefore, no meal program is provided.
