Patricia Menow, MSW, LSW

Patricia Menow brings nearly two decades of experience in child welfare and family services to her role as Director of Permanency Services at Diakon. She began her career at Lehigh County Children & Youth before joining Diakon, where she started in foster care services.

Over the years, Ms. Menow has held several leadership positions within the organization, including Supervisor of Foster Care, Director of Kinship & Foster Care, and Director of Permanency. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to supporting children and families with compassion, structure, and long-term stability.

Ms. Menow holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Social Work from Allentown College of St. Francis De Sales (now DeSales University) and earned her Master of Social Work from Marywood University. She is a licensed social worker (LSW) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Her passion for child welfare began during her graduate school internships with Valley Youth House and Lehigh County Children & Youth, where she witnessed the impact of systems on vulnerable families and the critical need for support services. After collaborating with a Diakon team member on a complex case, Ms. Menow was inspired by the organization’s mission and team-oriented approach, prompting her to apply for a position. She has remained with Diakon ever since.

In her current role, Ms. Menow is energized by the opportunity to take on new challenges and collaborate with Diakon staff across multiple regions. She attributes her long and meaningful career to the support of dedicated colleagues and is grateful to continue serving within a mission-driven organization she deeply values.
